Our sustainable resort community is tucked away in the jungle at 2,000 ft. in elevation on the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, where you’ll sacrifice none of the quality you’d expect in your accommodations. Surround yourself with primary jungle, secondary jungle and wildlife galore. Without question, the wildlife outnumbers the humans here, and you will most certainly feel privileged to be a guest in ‘their’ jungle home.
Osa Mountain Village appeals to every spirit. Whether your goal is non-stop adventure or undisturbed, tranquil meditation, we’ve got you covered. Monday and Thursday mornings, you can drop off your basket at our community center to enjoy a bounty of fresh, organic veggies and fruits picked by our gardeners that morning. Did you sleep in and forget? No worries, just go to our gardens and help yourself to what you need. Grab some eggs too. . .a fresh veggie omelet is right for any meal of the day.
Now you can sit back, relax, pour a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and enjoy the sounds of nature. With our 750 acres of jungle as your backyard, it doesn’t get any better than this. But consider yourself warned, you will leave a piece of your heart on this mountain. ‘Home’ might not ever be the same. Some folks never go back home, and that’s just fine with us.
One Bedroom & One Bathroom
This villa has a fresh modern feel with touches of nature to make this the most relaxing vacation ever!
Recently updated with new paint and decor, it’s ready for your stay! Located in Toucan Valley, it has a wonderful 180-degree view of the jungle with a variety of birds to lull you into a nap on the breezy veranda. It’s a short walk up to the pool, Club Bar/Eatery and laundry. This villa offers a relaxing 1 bedroom with a king-size bed with new bedding and linens and a 2-inch foam topper to give you a good night's sleep in the jungle. There is space for an additional mattress if needed.
This villa has a fully stocked kitchen, rice cooker/crock pot, Smart TV, ceiling fans in main room, bedroom and veranda. Oscillating fans have been installed to keep you cool as well!
Rarely is air conditioning needed but a portable air-conditioner is available upon request.

Additional kitchen & bath with shower, the pull-out sofa is a double bed. Can sleep 2-4 people with an addition of a blow-up queen mattress.
If you need more room for guests or you want separate but close accommodations for kids or another couple, we also offer the Gecko Lounge (14A-lower studio) (rents separately as well) directly below 14A with a separate entrance , this studio offers a full Bath and complete kitchen with an additional toaster oven/coffee maker combo. This unit also has been recently updated , painted and stocked with new bedding, towels and decor. Your going to feel like the jungle made its way inside your villa! It offers a pull-out double sofa bed (new mattress pad and linens and an additional blow up mattress, if needed).
You can relax on the porch under a new ceiling fan and patio chairs and listen to the jungle come alive.
Or, another option would be to rent both areas of the villa!
